For sale Mercedes Sprinter 316cdi LWB Campervan/motorhome conversion. Very fast/powerful van which has never let me down. I have owned the van for just over 3 years and have slowly converted it from a standard van to my home from home.
The interior was made by myself and a qualified carpenter friend of mine, we managed to make the most of the space in the van by fitting ample storage space, a kitchen area, seating/sleeping area and even with all that plenty of space left to move around the van. This really is a spacious van and can accommodate 2 people with ease without it feeling cramped. I stripped and insulated the van with aluminium foil behind the plywood so it is nice and cosy in the winter and/or cold nights. The van's electrics is managed via a PMS 3H power system with the 240v hook-up located outside, all is controlled from this unit including water pump and the split charge relay for re-charging the van's main battery for when it is parked up for long periods of time without starting it. Both Xplorer 125AH Leisure batteries are stowed beneath the tv area under the worktop for easy access for charging/replacing.
The fridge is a Waeco CR50 12v compressor fridge with integrated freezer compartment. SMEG sink/hob combination mounted within the worktop, the sink runs off a 12v pump with 10L containers located beneath the unit. The hob is plumbed into a propane bottle also located beneath the unit.
Sink waste runs into another 10L container. All cupboards are handmade in chalk painted pine topped with solid oak worktops stained and protected. The ceiling contains low power 12v led lights for plenty of lighting if cooking or working inside. The bed is an L-shaped queen size sofa/bed with deluxe springs so is suitable for long periods of sleeping on (I lived in this van 24/7 for 2 whole summers in the south of France). At the front of the van there are Captain Swivel Seats for both driver and passenger which allows the full rotation of both chairs to utilise space and accommodate more people. There is a reversing camera at the rear for easy parking and hitching up a trailer, also with 2 x 72W LED Lamps for some good lighting for late night parties! Plenty of room for storing surfboards/skateboards in the storage area under the bed. Can also easily fit in 4+ bikes through the side door, it would also be possible to store/carry a motorbike in the van.
Professionally fitted dark/tinted windows fitted on one side and both rear doors as seen in photos. Too many things to list, i've tried to cover everything but i've possibly missed a few, viewing is recommended to appreciate the van fully!During my ownership I have replaced/renewed. New clutch (approx 8000 miles ago). Inlet manifold clean and re-fit. All gaskets new on the above parts. Brake pads/discs all round (approx 5000 miles ago). Van has recently had a full service. There are a few marks and scrapes on the exterior of the van but for it's age it is in a good condition and has been well maintained. Really has to be seen to be appreciated with the quality of work inside. If you've owned or driven a Mercedes Sprinter you'll know how well these drive and how comfortable they can be, this van is no exception even at this mileage it really does drive like a car.
